capturing nostalgic, timeless moments from some of the sweetest days life has to offer

isle of film

(i-love-film)

I really do. There is something about the tactile quality, the vibrant color, the absence of color, the patience required, the craft. Something about how it pauses each moment for just one more second in the best way possible. It’s hard to put a finger on it. That’s why I love it. And why I let film influence the way I shoot, how I approach each wedding day, and capture each moment despite how much easier it would be to only shoot digital.

My hope is that all this effort and care and passion and sentimental value translates into something so much more than a photo on a screen. That you remember the way you felt, the laughs, the tears, and all the in-between moments.
